Pre-Calibrated Sensor Module for AL6000 & Alcomate Prestige

The Pre-Calibrated %BAC Replaceable Alcohol Sensor & Airflow Module for the AL6000i Model Breathalysers supplied via Value-Breathalysers can eliminate the delays and complications of re-calibration by allowing you to simply "snap out" an old module and "snap in" a new module. This way, you can get back to reliable, accurate testing in a matter of seconds!

Please check your circuit board colour as the modules are not interchangeable and can not be replaced after fitting if you order the wrong colour. To check the colour board required for your unit, loosen the site screw on your AL6000 and remove the black top cover to expose the sensor and circuit board as shown.

Re-Calibration & Technical Service

All new units are supplied pre-calibrated, but after regular use all digital breathalysers will require a calibration service to ensure their continued accuracy.

Manufacturers recommend calibration checks at a maximum of 600 test cycles or 12 monthly.
More frequent service will be required following high use, poor storage or exposure to high alcohol levels or smoke/tar.

We recommend a calibration service interval of between 3-6 months for all users depending on high accuracy.

To reduce calibration requirements, store all units in a even temperature environment.
Allow units to air after use (avoids condensation damage to sensor).
Do not test within 25 minutes of alcohol consumption and avoid smoking for 30 minutes before testing)

Value Breathalysers offer a full re-calibration service using Guth Simulators.
All units are electronically checked and cleaned. Sensors are checked and if needed, replaced.
After calibration, all units are checked and certified for accuracy prior to return.

We can re-calibrate the following units

ALCOHAWK PRO, ALCOMATE PRO-Sx & PRO, ALCOMATE, ALCOHAWK ABI, CA2000, & CA3000 branded models AL5000 DA5000 AL6000, DA8000 fuel cell

Units must be returned to us for professional calibration.
Test certificates are issued with each unit calibrated.
